At C-Space, community has always been at the heart of what we do and with some incredible full time members within our walls, we thought it was time to start introducing you to some of them and hear a little more about their journeys. With International Womens Day on 8th March, we thought sharing the words of one of our female members would be a great start!
Happy International Women's Day
As a female-driven workspace led by Stevie and Shan, we’re proud to champion the strength, creativity and independence of women in the workplace. Their passion for supporting others has helped shape C-Space into more than just a place to work — it’s a welcoming community where people of all genders and identities can feel supported, connected and inspired.
We’re also incredibly proud of the community that has grown here. Of our dedicated members, around 54% are women, and we love that the space sees an almost equal split of men and women working here regularly. It’s this balance of perspectives and experiences that helps make C-Space such a collaborative and supportive place to work.
One of the many inspiring women in our community is Sarah Cavill, whose journey over the past year has seen her move from a desk in our coworking space to her own beautiful office overlooking the sea. Sarah is a Coach and Hypnotherapist who helps successful women break free from the subconscious blocks that can hold them back from reaching their full potential. We thought International Women’s Day would be the perfect opportunity to sit down with her and talk about her journey, as well as her thoughts on women in the workplace.

Let's Talk Business
Hey Sarah! Can you tell us a little about what you do and who you help through your coaching and hypnotherapy work?
I use subconscious reprogramming through a mix of coaching, NLP and Hypnotherapy to rewire the mind and allow people to create big change in their lives and or businesses.
What first inspired you to start working in coaching and hypnotherapy?
I've always been fascinated in Psychology and it was experiencing Life Coaching myself that made me realise how powerful it was and really unlocked my love for it. I originally found a Life Coach because I wanted them to give me advice, but through the process it completely changed my brain and gave me the tools to create more than I ever thought I could have.
In your work with clients, what common subconscious blocks are you most proud of helping women release so they can step more confidently into their potential?
I help women release all kinds of limiting beliefs, but the best feeling is when I can see that they rewire from doubt to self-belief. When they begin to believe that anything is possible for them, they create incredible results and operate from a really grounded, calm space which is beautiful to watch.
Your C-Space Journey
You first joined C-Space as a coworker with a dedicated desk at the start of our own journey last year. How important is community and support when building a business, both as a woman and in general?
Community is everything! I was offering sessions from my flat for a long time, but I value the people I have met here and the connections I've built over time so deeply that it was important for me to keep that which is why I now have a studio here.
Now that you’ve moved into your gorgeous office overlooking the sea, how has that journey felt for you? Has physically seeing that transition reflected the growth of your business?
Yes definitely. I moved into the space a little before I was ready mentally or financially, but taking on this studio has helped me to uplevel and has lead to more clients than ever. It's the same work that I do with clients - embodying the identity of the version that already has the results before it's happened, so it was important to me to do this for myself. I treat myself as if I'm my own client!

Feminine Power
Who are the women that inspire you the most?
My mum and my best friend. They are both incredible women and I'm not sure where I'd be without them!
If you could share one collective message with women this International Women’s Day, what would it be?
It might sound cheesy, but it would be that everything they desire is completely possible. They just need to create the belief that they deserve it first.
We feel incredibly inspired by the work Sarah is doing and the positive impact she continues to have supporting women to step into their confidence, clarity and potential. We’re so grateful that she has chosen C-Space as the home for her practice, creating a safe and empowering space for women in Newquay and across the surrounding areas to pause, reflect and move forward with purpose.
